SSI in conjunction with Avonmore Electrical in Ireland recently installed some of our AFD350 fine bubble diffusers in the Listowel wastewater treatment plant in Eire Ireland. Prior to installing SSI disc diffusers the Listowel wastewater treatment plant was using mechanical surface aerators which were consuming 16kw/hr. Since making the switch to diffused aeration the plant has been able to reduce their consumption to 6-7 kw/hr, less than half!
