Diffuser Membrane Inner Slit Protection

SSI patent-pending fEPDM fine bubble diffusers are the first in the industry to offer significant inner slit protection from ageing and chemical attack. PTFE membranes from SSI offer significant barrier layer protection on the top surface of the membrane.
fEPDM membranes provide barrier protection on the air side of the membrane, the water side, and within the inner slit. This means protection from fouling, chemical attack, ozone exposure, high temperature, etc… and there are far fewer places from which plasticizers within the EPDM substrate can leech.
Mr. Frankel co-founded SSI in 1995 with experience in design and distribution of engineered systems. He is in charge of sales, marketing and operations in the company. Mr. Frankel holds multiple US patents related to diffusers. He is a graduate of Washington University in St. Louis.
