Aeration System Upgrade in Finland saves 30%!

The IImajoki Wastewater treatment plant in Finland recently installed SSI’s fine bubble diffusers and have seen amazing results! Since installation of our diffusers they have seen a vast difference in influent and effluent quality including the color at the RAS inlet as well as weir channel. The plant which treats wastewater from the local municipality as well as an alcohol production and waste handling/bio gas plant causing bad peak loads was forced to upgrade their system when set effluent criteria was not met. Since installing SSI’s Snappy Saddle fine bubble tube diffusers the plant has been able to meet criteria and also saved 30% in energy consumption along with increase performance!
Mr. Frankel co-founded SSI in 1995 with experience in design and distribution of engineered systems. He is in charge of sales, marketing and operations in the company. Mr. Frankel holds multiple US patents related to diffusers. He is a graduate of Washington University in St. Louis.
