North Texas Municipal (Dallas) Orders 33,500 SSI PTFE Diffusers

We are pleased to announce that North Texas Municipal (Dallas) has purchased 33,500 SSI PTFE coated EPDM membranes and backer plates to replace existing ceramic diffusers at the Wilson Creek WWTP.
The decision to install PTFE rather than plain EPDM membranes was based on a the positive impression that was made after a trial with 3400 pcs of PTFE coated EPDM membranes and backer plates in their MBR (membrane bioreactor) which were installed over a year ago, and based on the cost competitiveness of the PTFE coated membrane diffusers.
Mr. Frankel co-founded SSI in 1995 with experience in design and distribution of engineered systems. He is in charge of sales, marketing and operations in the company. Mr. Frankel holds multiple US patents related to diffusers. He is a graduate of Washington University in St. Louis.
