Joliet Illinois WWTP installs SSI aertaion system

Joliet Illinois recently completed installation and start up of their wastewater treatment plant. Joliet’s aeration system includes 12 aeration tanks with over 16,704 pcs of our AFD270-P, 9″ disc diffuser with PTFE membrane. Please find below photos of the wastewater treatment plant during and after installation of the new system. Great job to all involved!
Mr. Frankel co-founded SSI in 1995 with experience in design and distribution of engineered systems. He is in charge of sales, marketing and operations in the company. Mr. Frankel holds multiple US patents related to diffusers. He is a graduate of Washington University in St. Louis.
