New Patent Granted to SSI for Layered Membranes

US Patent Number 7,396,499 B2 has been granted to SSI. It is entitled “Multiple Layered Membrane with Fluorine Containing Polymer Layer”, and it was granted on July 8, 2008, almost 4 years after filing.
There are multiple additional pending patents under negotiation with the US Patent Office and other International Patent Offices related to our development of new membrane materials such as our PTFE coated and fEPDM products.
SSI continues to develop new technologies related to fine bubble diffuser membranes and aeration systems.
Mr. Frankel co-founded SSI in 1995 with experience in design and distribution of engineered systems. He is in charge of sales, marketing and operations in the company. Mr. Frankel holds multiple US patents related to diffusers. He is a graduate of Washington University in St. Louis.
